I think I have malware on my laptops? I think I have malware on my laptop (HP Elitebook 830 G7, running latest version of Windows 11). I opened my laptop today and saw that it was automatically updating. Immediately after the update was when I first began experiencing my issue. When I typed something into the chrome search bar, instead of searching through google, my search was redirected to [ipqcr.pdftools.store](http://ipqcr.pdftools.store) . I searched to see if anyone was having a related issue, but [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/computerviruses/comments/1ryat3r/ipqcr_dot_pdftools_dot_store_browser_hijacker/) was the only post I could find. I did the same things as OP in that post, and I removed permissions from pdftools in my chrome browser. That seemed to do the trick, but when I opened up my laptop today, pdftools had permissions again, and had also somehow done something to my onenote. I wanted to ask for advice on how to proceed. I can provide logs from FRST if needed (I followed the instructions in the other post).
