Avoid IVERYBERS.com like the plague. I was trying to buy two snow shovels online because I couldn’t find them in the store this year. When I put in the company name and model of the snow shovel (a valid company with a valid product) it showed up in Yahoo shopping search on a few of the sales links. The cheapest price was at IVERYBERS.COM — the low price should’ve been a tip off but I just assumed that there’s a bunch sitting in warehouses and they need to get rid of them— it seemed like a valid sales site, I ordered two of the same model for a supposed total of $25.00 — I went to do the checkout and I filled in my credit card information. When I tried to complete the purchase the website just kept the progress wheel spinning on that page, and never showed indication that the purchase had gone through. I tried to go back a page to see what was going on, the page showed no indication of a completed purchase. I got suspicious and then investigatedthe name “IVERYBERS” to determine whether it was a scam, and several scam warning links said “whatever you do don’t order from IVERYBERS company it’s a total scam.” I closed out the page thinking the credit card information hadn’t gone through. I then visited DK Hardware online (I believe that’s a valid company) — I tried to order the same two shovels through them only to find out that shipping was gonna be double the cost of the shovels, so I gave up. One hour later I received a call from Bank of America that told me a $500+ charge had been made to my credit card from a random eBay account. I knew that I didn’t order from eBay, With my approval, Bank of America canceled the fraudulent transaction, canceled my card, and has initiated a fraud investigation. I have yet to be contacted by Bank of America fraud department so I can tell them the name of the website that I feel stole my information and tried to steal $500 from me.
