The scammers are using a site that's called "Jadeplush.com". The items that were purchased were 2 weighted plush Oxes. The first one was supposed to be like $15 including shipping, then they state that you can add another of the item for like $5, which would come out to around $20. As soon as you go to pay the shipping price changes after you pay. They charged me $19.68 for 1, and $24.68 for the other one! I immediately tried email them with no response from them! This was placed November 4th, I received a charge for $39.97 from a site called Madesmen.com that I've never been to before on November 13th. I then went backed and seen that this site was the same site that charged me for these plush items from Jadeplush.com. I've contacted my bank Capital One and had my card canceled and have disputed the fraud transactions. The packages were supposedly delivered today, November 18th, and guess what? There are no packages and the shipping information is very plain, no actual locations for where the items actually moved from. I saw a very cute Highland cow weighted plush that could also be warmed in the microwave. I saw a reel on Facebook saying that it was back in stock and on sale for $9.95, so I thought perfect! I went to the site after reading several reviews and doing, what I thought, was my due diligence (WRONG!!) and placed an order. The "Weighted Cow Plush" was in my cart for $9.95 and then you chose shipping, either standard for $4.95 or express for $9.95. I went with standard shipping. It came up as a total of $14.90 and asked for my payment information, which I happily provided. Once I got the email confirming my order, I went to my bank account to make sure it had processed and the charge was actually $24.68! WTH?! I immediately attempted to get in touch with these people, but the only response I got back was an auto reply email from "Patrick Smith" directing me to their website. I have had NO contact with these thieves, although I've tried every avenue I could think of! They sent me a tracking # and said that my package had shipped, however the tracking # provides no real information and I have yet to receive anything. Cut to today... I check my bank account regularly, as my Husband and I are both on SSDI and he was very recently diagnosed with a rare Ocular Cancer, EVERY PENNY COUNTS! So I pay attention and when I got into our account this afternoon I saw that these animals hit our account for another $39.99!! I am absolutely LIVID!! I have contacted my bank and I expect that they'll resolve this on their end (because they're amazing), but if I can stop this from happening to anybody else, that would be ideal! Oh and by the way, when you type in "jadeplush.com" now, it goes to "snowplushies.com"... 100% SCAM!!! Usually I'm more astute than this! I would hate for anybody else to get taken by these thieves!
