Alt-Coin based on Direct Democracy for coin generation [Seeking Team] I have been working on the [Jack of all trade Universe](http://www.joatu.com), or JoatU, an online marketplace and community currency generator since October 2012 and have founded a team of volunteers to help turn the idea into a reality. We are working on creating a functional beta at the moment and have aspirations to launch at the end of the first quarter of 2014. For the next level of development, we want to turn our centralized means of exchange into a decentralized cryptocurrency that uses a direct-democracy voting practice instead of mining to generate coins. If you or anybody you know has interest or skills relating to software development/engineering/crytography/cryptocurrencies and have interest in helping create a decentralized anything-for-anything marketplace, please let them know of this project. The project will also touch other aspects of Bitcoin included [colored coins](http://coloredcoins.org) and quite possibly [Keyhotee](http://invictus-innovations.com/keyhotee/) as well. **Unlike JoatU to date which functions through the goodwill and volunteerism of its participants, this project will almost certainly be funded from the start.** The outline/business plan/grant applications need to be completed before April for this project to be funded. Actual development is only set to begin after funding has been secured.
