Lenovo.deHow a multi-billion-dollar company scammed me Hello everyone, I want to tell you how Lenovo is trying to scam me, and how this company ruined my life over the past 4 months. It all started when I moved to Germany and got a job while also studying a new field for myself — artificial intelligence. After about 6 months, I became pretty good at it, and I was offered a job. I was extremely happy because it was a well-paid position with great opportunities. The problem was that my old MSI laptop was not powerful enough for this kind of work. So I decided to spend my last saved money on a new laptop. I watched a lot of reviews and finally chose the Lenovo Legion 5 because it matched all the required specifications. I ordered it to my home. The very next day after placing the order, while I was working construction illegally because I was still waiting for my documents, I broke my leg very badly. My whole life basically stopped at that moment. My wife kept working, and I was thinking: “At least my new laptop will arrive soon and I’ll finally be able to start my new job.” I received the tracking number by email and stayed home the whole time waiting for the delivery. And this is where the real nightmare began. On the day the laptop was supposed to arrive, nobody came. I thought maybe they simply ran out of time and the package was returned to the local UPS branch. I called them and asked for another delivery attempt. They told me: “Sure, no problem, we’ll deliver it tomorrow.” Tomorrow came — nobody arrived. I called again. Same answer. The next day — same thing again. Then the weekend started and the branch was closed. After the weekend, I decided to go there myself on crutches. It was winter, February 25th. I somehow made it to the UPS branch thinking I would just pick up my laptop and go back home. Instead, they told me that the package had been lost and that I needed to open an investigation request.
