I saw an ad on instagram for a commemorative item celebrating America's 250th Birthday. I purchased 2 items as gifts. What I received was not what was advertised. I complained and asked for a refund because they have a 30 day return policy and they offered to refund $15 because shipping will cost $50-80. I tried uploading a copy of the email exchange and additional pictures of the advertisement and what I actually received but am unable to. Please provide me with an email address and I will send it via email. I was only able to upload only 1 picture. But from the picture I did upload, and if you compare it to the website, it is completely nothing like what was advertised. When I made the purchase I thought I was purchasing from a company based in America. If you go to their contacts page, you can see that the address listed is in Albany NY. However, after the purchase, I received shipping tracking information and it noted that it was coming from China. Had I known that I never would have made the purchase. This company knows that people will not complete their returns because it is too expensive to ship back. They are purposefully shipping cheap knockoffs knowing this. This company should not be allowed to sell items in America. They are scamming us using false/deceptive advertisement and not fulfilling promises.
