The scam is stealing all of the information used when buying products and creating an account to store the data which is share for the profit of stripe.com and link.com. The company stripe.com uses link.com and even after being forced to login to that suspicious site to delete the account they created of their own accord now I am getting spam from link.com telling me to de the account that I did not request or agree to. They are collecting data from as many customers of stripe.com all purchases, emails, phone numbers, and addresses. credit cards too. I never want a third party collecting or storing my data. much less accounts that I never wanted or agreed to. How can customers prevent, opt out forever, etc from this illegal thief of personal information that will be sold or otherwise used without our consent. I don’t want to worry about new accounts being created without my consent everytime I buy something on the internet. Many people on the internet and even AI report this issue exactly as I am describing. comments of class action lawsuits are in their comments. This is a nation wide problem and no business should be legally allowed to do this to customers.
