I got an ad on Snapchat for a Macy’s Black Friday deal for a pair of shoes. The website showed limited stock. Once in your cart, it provides a countdown so you only have so much time to complete the purchase before you lose it. When I tried to place the order it told me that the system was busy and I immediately got a fraud alert from my bank. I was redirected from a Snapchat link advertising Black Friday deals for uggs at a discounted price, the website stated Macysdeals.com on further research. I realize that it was a scam. I did enter my credit card information however it stated that the information was not processing that I needed to reload it again. I immediately locked my debit card at this point I can’t see that any money was taken off, but I am still skeptical that they may have gathered information.
