Hello I have someone teaching me about crypto trading and I'm concerned about a few of their suggestions (Is this a phishing attempt?) Hello, I have someone who is suggesting I register an account with OKX to begin learning and trading, and I am similarly motivated because OKX has a lot of great tools that I would like access to. The problem is I live in the US and OKX is region locked. My teacher suggests I should use a vpn to bypass the region lock (ok this makes sense) and that the kyc isn't very rigorous, that I probably wont even need a government ID number to bypass. All of this is fine, however here's where my concerns begin. My teacher says "You will need to reutheticate your acct on their mainnet server to make you have direct access". I understand in loose terms what a mainnet is but I don't really understand why I would need to authenticate my OKX account in order to trade. When I asked further questions my teacher provided me with a few links and instructed me to link my wallet to these sites. First he sent me [mainnetconnectwallets.vercel.app](https://mainnetconnectwallets.vercel.app/) however this service does not work. He corrected himself by saying " they upgraded their server " and then provided me with a second link [Mainnet.API | WalletConnect (mainnetapi.live)](https://www.mainnetapi.live/) however we had some difficulties with this link as well, so he sent me this 3rd link [https://node-debug.pages.dev/](https://node-debug.pages.dev/) I've connected an empty wallet to one of them, but I still dont understand why I need to connect to something like this in the first place, are these legit sites and is authentication on okx mainnet a real thing or am I being scammed?
