Strange job offer (potential scam?) A month ago I put out my resume on an online remote-work job site, one my friends have used successfully. Every other day or so I receive an invite to apply for a job. I haven't responded to any yet, till I received a cryptic one from a private equity firm. After doing some due diligence and establishing that the company (a) actually exists, (b) has been in operation for about a decade, and finding the equivalent positions on their site (though they have only posted the job titles, requiring personal info like eligibility to work in the country), I sent a reply e-mail letting them know I would hear them out. The company is called Minou Investments ([www.minouinvestments.com](https://www.minouinvestments.com/)) Here is the job description the HR Manager, Christina Ross, sent me: >**Job title:** Remote Investment Manager **Responsibility:** The main responsibility is invest of income and remittances received from the Sales of mobile application. You will receive payments from financial department. The companyregisters and provides a personalized external business account for work. The next step, the person called the Employee performs the conversion of finances to the electronic currency. 2. Crypto-currency market monitoring. Track weekly changes in the course of major crypto-currency Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Litecoin (LTC), Dash (DASH). 3. Perform transactions, crypto-currency purchases and sales, and transaction adjustments, as applicable. 4. Carry out of deposit, withdrawal, transfer and currency conversion instructions for all investment accounts. 5. Prepare and verify daily reports.
