I I believed I was purchasing Hey Dude shoes directly from the official Hey Dude website. I placed an order for approximately 10 pairs on March 1st, 2026. Approximately 12 days later, I contacted modedressy.com, the sender of my order confirmation email, to inquire about my purchase. I was provided with the same tracking number as in the original confirmation. This tracking number led to an unofficial tracking website, which for several days indicated that the package was in the same location despite the passage of time. Throughout this period, I engaged in email correspondence, and I was consistently reassured that my order was en route, experiencing only a delay. Subsequently, the tracking information updated to indicate that the package had been delivered, but no photographic evidence was provided to confirm the delivery. I requested a refund, but instead, I was informed that the package would be resent with guaranteed expedited shipping. The same issue arose with an unofficial tracking number and website, which now indicated the package was originating from China. On April 15th, I reached out again, and I was reassured that neither they nor the carrier were involved in a scam. The following day, the tracking once again indicated delivery. I have repeatedly requested a refund, and I have now been informed that I can receive 70% of my money back, as they claim to have incurred losses from the carrier. I paid $4 for shipping insurance. I feel completely compromised, and I am now concerned about the security of my card information, in addition to being out nearly $50.…. I thought I was ordering hey dude shoes from the hey dude website I ordered 7 pairs on February 13th 2026…. Beginning of March reached out to the email that sent me confirmation of the sale….modedressy.com inquiring about my order was Gaven a tracking number and an off brand tracking website… it said the package was delivered but no photo was taken to confirm the delivery… requested my money back but instead they said they send out the package again n guarantee d to expedite it. Reached out beginning of this week to email because they don’t have a phone number to call….. same thing off brand tracking number n website says package is coming from china?!!!
