Scammed by "Triple Crown Moving Systems", do I have any recourse? Location: Chicago, IL (moving to Atlanta, GA) Scammed by this company, can read a TLDR version of what happened here: [https://moveadvisor.com/movers/triple-crown-moving-systems-llc-35798](https://moveadvisor.com/movers/triple-crown-moving-systems-llc-35798) Basically was lied to by salesman flat-out but still signed a contract, when they tried to up my price from the contract (which I admittedly signed because I trusted the salesman), I said I either wanted a full refund and to cancel (they lied about their company name, so looking up their real name showed all the negative reviews and people saying to avoid at all costs) because I didn't trust their company, or if I could not get my $1k deposit back that I wanted to proceed with the move as planned (the dispute was over my allotted space, so I said if we were to proceed I would not take up more than my allotted cubic feet assigned in the contract). Up until 9-10pm the night before the move was scheduled for 6:30am, the employees said unless management said they'd refund me the move was still scheduled. I never heard from anyone, they never showed up the next morning and when I reached out they said "you canceled so we're keeping your deposit" (which was \~$1K). UPDATE: Already connected with someone whose going through the exact same thing, was lied to blatantly and told to look up the reviews of "Triple Crown Moving", the separate company with good reviews. Wondering if I have any recourse legally under "deceptive business practices" or anything like that? Thanks in advance for any help or advice, happy to provide more info if needed
