Ordered Whiskey Dispenser from MyRoyalCustom.com (https://www.myroyalcustom.com) for $152.00. Had customized with name. Received item 3 weeks later. The item they presented on their web site is not the item I received. I contacted the seller alerting them this was not the item they advertised on their web site and requested a full refund. Their site states the item is, "crafted from repurposed whiskey barrel lids" and "showcasing it's natural wood grain" and is clearly not that. I did not get a whiskey barrel lid as represented on their site, the beveling around the edge is not there, the size of the item is too small and the dispenser on the right overlays the text - and both sides will cover the text if a bottle is added, which again is clearly not what their site portrays. The shelf is not the wood or thickness as in their web site picture and the pre-drilled holes are not aligned and causes the shelf to be slightly crooked. Seller responded stating they would not refund as it was a "custom" order and offered a 15% discount, but did not address the item they sent was not what I ordered. I responded it is unacceptable and a full refund is warranted due to the misrepresentation and deceptive practices. They again responded offering a $50 refund. I responded anything other than a full refund is not acceptable and I would file a report against them. The seller showed a picture and made statements about an item online, then sent me a different item with the intent to deceive me and take my money, which is considered fraudulent misrepresentation and is a violation of consumer protection laws. I've contacted the Attorney General and now BBB to file a consumer fraud complaint.
