Denied FSA claim. Location: Arkansas I had a situation last year where I had a surplus of FSA funds at the end of the year and when I was looking on my account servicer’s website I noticed one of their partners was a company called truemed which has a whole plethora of items for purchase from saunas to bikes. I have an actual history of high blood pressure and have been told by my PC that biking is a good low impact form of cardio. I did some more research and it looked like this would be an acceptable purchase with an LMN. Truemed provided the LMN and it has been denied by the servicer of the account and now by my employer. I’m trying to see if there is anything I can do here to fight this. I feel that it’s negligence on the part of the servicer to have a direct link to truemed listed as a partner on the same page as the FSA store and no disclaimer. Additionally they have a list of eligible and ineligible items and it says nothing about this. The only thing I was told is that a bike is dual purpose and does not qualify. However there is nothing on their page that eludes to this. I’m attaching the links that I used to make the purchase for clarity. Is there anything I can do here? https://www.naviabenefits.com/partnerships/ https://www.truemed.com/a/navia/shop/partners/canyon https://www.naviabenefits.com/participants/resources/expenses/
