I booked a cruise on Norwegian Cruise lines directly at NCL.com. I wouldn't back on the internet to call them to ask about getting an upgrade, and accidentally went to Norwegian.com. do you representative informed me that I had a balance due for cruise terminal port charges. And that if I didn't pay it ahead of time it would be $285 a person at the port and $185 each if I paid it ahead of time. She seemed to have information about me and the cruise but I am not sure how. I was frustrated that this was something that was not paid for but she insisted that if I pay for it now I will save $100 a person. She used the story that in July they changed the port fees and that this was something that would have to be paid or it would be attached to my bill when I leave. I somehow didn't think it was correct but after giving her my credit card and information I went online to the chat at ncl.com and confirmed with them that I owed no more money. By then I had given her my credit card information. She was still on hold, She finally came back and I told her I did not want this charge to be done. She said she would hold it, and that I should call her back at extension 124. After confirming this was a scam, obviously I did not do anything else. I have been checking my credit card and there has not been a charge yet. But I did get an email from them telling me about the charges and accepting the charges....
