I saw a TV commercial where it was stated that I could obtain a prescription Neffy via an online (GetNeffy.com) site. This commercial stated that I would have a virtual visit with a health care professional at no cost and that professional would prescribe Neffy for me. I logged on to getneffy.com and filled out the healthcare questionnaire. The site stated that the virtual health care visit would cost $35.00 so I paid the $35 via a credit card. Then I got an email from [email protected] stating that my prescription for Neffy was not approved and stating that I should log onto Neffy.com and have my doctor provide a prescription for the Neffy. The TV commercial had stated that the Neffy would cost $199 but it had also stated that there would be no cost for the virtual health care visit. According to SingleCare a Neffy would cost between $700 and $800 if I got it at a local pharmacy and when my doctor prescribed it for me last Fall I found that Medicare would not cover it.
