Fake Nescafe shopping website, nescafeusshop.com, used my credit card information to enrolled in Apple Pay As mentioned in the title, there's a fake Nescafe website that pretends to take your order. After submitting your payment information, the site pretends to need extra verification from your credit card company. In reality, what it's doing is enrolling your credit card in the scammer's Apple Pay wallet in real time. The "extra verification" is a way to trick you into entering the real protection code that your credit card company sends to your phone. My first order attempt was "declined" after completing the verification step. I thought was really odd but wanted to complete the purchase so I entered my second credit card. Luckily the second card had my old phone number which prevented me from relaying the verification code to the scammer. I should've known better because the price was too good but I was on my phone when making the purchase at the time and was in a rush. The fake website is powered by Shopify and i've reported it but so far the website is still up.
