Curb to counter assistance at the airport (TPA)? We're in a situation where an elderly relative who never travels alone (difficulty navigating new places, luggage is challenging) has to fly cross-country alone. We considered flying there and back with him on the same day, but we're wondering if there's a service that can assist between getting dropped off at the Departures curb and hauling luggage/finding the ticket counter? We can arrange a car and already requested airline assistance, but were told that staff can only help him once he finds the ticketing counter and identifies himself. ETA: he just moved, only knows 1 person locally who is not equipped to help with this. Thanks in advance! **UPDATE:** We ended up connecting with a retirement community who referred us to a person who will drive and walk him in to the ticket counter for a fee. Hopefully all will go smoothly... 🤞
