Community Reports

I wanted to share my experience with what I believe to be a fraudulent job opportunity, so others can avoid falling into the same trap. I was contacted by someone named "Chloe" via email about a Remote Operation Client Manager position. The process appeared legitimate at first. She requested a resume, followed up with a professionally formatted job description PDF, and outlined a structured 16-day paid training program instead of a traditional interview. This format exists in some industries, so I proceeded. Over the course of our communication, I submitted a signed agreement form, a photo of my ID, and my availability start date. She followed through with a scheduled call, deflected my questions about the company, and directed me to a follow-up email instead. That email requested my banking information for training payment purposes and included a PowerPoint presentation about the training program. Before signing anything, I happened to notice that the address in the document did not match what I had previously seen. That inconsistency prompted me to investigate further. Through a Google search, it revealed an identical job posting under a different company name called "NovoGlobAllSoftware.com". This made me go back to the website and found out that several of the "client projects" listed on the Glob Net Digital website linked to companies whose websites were either down, made by other companies, or nonexistent. A LinkedIn search turned up no employees associated with Glob Net Digital, except one individual listed on the site who was, in fact, actively employed at a completely different company, suggesting his identity may have been stolen to make Glob Net Digital more credible. When I called back to request clarification, "Chloe" did not answer. What made this particularly dangerous was the level of detail and professionalism throughout the process.
