I applied for a Customer Service Representative position listed by Purelane Health on LinkedIn. Got an email a few days later on January 5, 2026 stating I made it to the the next stage of the process: asynchronous online questionnaire that would take 20-30 minutes to complete and I had until January 8th, 2026 at 11:59 EST to submit my response. Then on January 7th, 2026 I received an email stating Congratulations on completing your first stage of our hiring process and invited me to a Live Chat interview on January 9th, 2026, flexible time after set up complete via the join live teams chat https://teams.live.com/I/invite/FAAGQn-OmLnFg630am?v=g1. The interview was not Live chat, it was a series of questions I had to answer. During the live chat interview I had to take a picture of my government issued ID card and subimt it to prove I was who I was. I was offered a position, they had me log in to their portal link: https://onboarding.purelanehealthcom, use an access code they provideXB) and fill out a W-4 (with my name, social security #, date of birth). I then stated my training which was $17.63/hour then once training is complete pay would be $20.51 per hour. I received a paystub with check info and amounts $4500.00 total $282.04 for my training so far and $4217.96 for equipment. They don't offer direct deposit via a digital bank and a savings thru a regular known Bank. I never received the check, reached out to them then they told me that they had my address in their system as an apartment and asked if I had an apartment # or if it was a PO Box, also stated that they were having a hard time depositing the check because it bounced back to them. I haven't heard from anyone since February 12, 2026 when then asked about my address and said the check bounced back to them because it wouldn't deposit in my account.
