Community Reports

Warning : my (almost) scamed experience. I would like to share with you an attempted scam I fell victim to. I was contacted by someone claiming to be Stephanie W. through a dating app. After a few uninteresting discussions on Whatsapp, Stephanie explains to me that she lives in Perth, Australia and works in cryptocurrency. Obviously, liking me a lot, she is ready to give me advice so that I invest myself with a big return on investment. At first I simply refused, not being really interested in cryptocurrencies. But, in front of her insistence, I begin to wonder if it is not a scam and, above all, how she proceeds in order to protect me from possible scams in the future. So I accept her offer of advice and she explains to me what I should do. First I have to make a deposit on a platform like Binance, around 100 or 200$ then convert them into USDT. Then I have to create an account on another platform for which she gives me the link (m.otccee.com) in order to transfer my USDT there. From there, I have to contact the support of otccee via a chat to ask for the generation of a wallet (???). I proceed as said and the "'support", which really looked like an automated robot, sends me a wallet number. At this time, I begin to understand the method of the scam and decide to create another account with another email address on the otccee site in order to request another wallet. You see it coming, the "support" sends me the same wallet number which is TJ3Nm3oBVjUL5PSP1FThqYcCGb8jb5Uamm. A quick tour of tronscan.org shows that this wallet of course already exists and many transactions are carried out regularly. I asked Stephanie why 2 different accounts on otccee.com get the same wallet. She tried to convince me that it was normal and that I could transfer my USDT to it without fear, I would still own it. At this point, I stopped everything realizing that behind my Australian princess was hiding a money-hungry demon. I testify here from my experien
