Scans take abnormally long amounts of time. I'm back home for labor day weekend and my parents have presented me with their virus-infested computer. It's Security Suite this time and I know how to get rid of it, but the scans are taking ridiculous amounts of time. The current scan has been running for 6hrs20minutes. The computer is 6 years old I think. It's got a Pentium4, 2GB Ram. The hard disk is 180GB and of that they're only using 104GB. If problems persist after this scan I'm probably going to run Combofix and hope it's a little quicker. I'd like to be leaving tomorrow but I don't want to leave them with a computer that has fake AV and redirects to sites like "porno.com" every 3 minutes.
