Memory stick automatically opens web page on insertion? One of my friends has a neat pen drive from his Dad's business. Whenever you insert it into a PC it opens up a webpage with the companies information. Formatting it doesn't remove this. You can completely nuke the entire drive and it'll still load the page whenever it's plugged in. I don't know if this is just under Windows but it'll find out tomorrow. My question is, how is this done? Can it be replicated? Well, that was my initial question. I'm curious about the technology because i've always wondered if there is a way to have a pen drive say, automatically send an email to me whenever it's plugged in. With details of where it has been plugged in, the username of the person plugging it in... etc. Kinda like [prey.](http://preyproject.com/) This'd be useful in case I lose it, or it gets stolen. (I've lost quite a few so far). I often leave them in computers at school and stuff.
