Writing a Video Game. Extremely confused about a couple things. (Photos+Credits) (The questions I have are kind of long, but they are all yes/no questions that Google is being extremely uncooperative about.) Background information: I and one other partner are writing an RPG/Visual Novel (think choose your own adventure game) using the Ren'Py Engine. The worst possible scenario is us ending up in legal trouble or being unable to distribute our game. We wish to freely distribute binaries, but not complete source code, and may or may not consider asking for donations. The Ren'Py Engine/SDK (starter development kit - what helps make the games) itself is largely under the MIT license, but published games must be distributed under the LGPL license. Game media will likely include OGG audio, photographs (both PNG and JPEG), and hand-drawn art. The author of the Ren'Py engine has said the following: >The LGPL (which is the controlling license for distribution of Ren'Py games) also requires that you have a link to http://www.renpy.org/dl/lgpl/ as part of your game. 1. I'm having a hard time understanding the "as part of your game" component. Is it enough to have the link easily visible in the game's documentation (external help file), or must the link be easily visible in the game itself (internal "About the game" menu option)? 2. If a photograph used includes a logo of, for example, Starbucks, but not as the primary subject of the photo, will that prevent me from collecting donations/distributing my game? 3. Similarly, if a photograph is clearly of a Starbucks store (as the main subject), will that prevent me from collecting donations? 4. My game will have an "iPhone" component. It [looks like others have done this](http://interactiveiphone.com/) and gotten away with it. Can I get away with doing something similar and still collect donations/distribute my game? (The game binaries will function properly on Mac OS X, but will not function on the iPhone itself.) 5. With
