After applying to visit a rent house on rently.com, I was contacted by John Kaumans through text, stating he was the landlord. He sent me link to self-tour the house I was interested in through msrnewal.com (Main Stree Renewal). Once I decided I wanted the house and we talked over the phone, threw Whatsapp and Telegram, his lawyer (Barbara Lindeman) emailed me paperwork and links to get approved through affordhousing.live. I got approval letter, welcome video, signed lease, John sent me a picture of his license. Paiment for the deposit and the first month rent were done through wire transfer (red flag for me but everything else was so legal that I went through with it, the landlord explained he got scammed in the past). I realised that I got scameed when I was ready to move in the house today, to find a family had moved in weeks ago, through a legit company.
