Beware of ResumeLeader (resumeleader.com) — Hidden 7-Day Subscription Trap I wanted to post a warning about \*\*ResumeLeader (resumeleader.com)\*\* for anyone looking for a job. I used their site thinking I was making a simple, one-time payment of around $1.00 to download or create a resume. There was no clear indication that I was signing up for a recurring payment. Exactly 7 days later, they hit my account with a massive monthly subscription fee. It turns out the $1.00 was a hidden "7-day trial" buried deep in the fine print, designed to automatically convert into an expensive monthly subscription. If you have used this site recently, check your bank accounts immediately. **What to do if they caught you:** 1. Log into your account and try to cancel, but also call your bank immediately. 2. Ask your bank to block the merchant or freeze your card so they cannot charge you again next month. 3. File a formal chargeback dispute with your bank for "deceptive recurring billing." Don't let them keep your money!
