Debt Collector Text, not sure if it’s a scam or not. Just as the title states, got a text from a debt collector today about a trash company account with $250 owed, website is https://rmspay.com/ , not sure if I should give them any money or not but I also don’t want my credit to take a hit. I’ve read that debt collectors will never message you only send stuff in the mail, which I could believe, but we are in a digital era. Also wasn’t sure if I could include the phone number or not so I just blurted it. Thanks for the help.
