I participated in a 7-day online market research study that required approximately 15 hours of my time. I was informed that I would receive a $400 payment through a Visa gift card issued by this company. Initially, I was told an online digital card would be issued. When I attempted to use it, the card did not work for online purchases. I contacted the company by phone and explained that the card was unusable. I was then told they would issue a physical gift card instead. To receive the physical card, I provided my full mailing address, phone number, name, and email address. I was told to expect the card by mail. After waiting approximately one month, I had not received anything. I contacted the company again through their website and by phone. Each time, I was told to “wait longer.” The card never arrived. After multiple follow-ups over several weeks, I was eventually told that a replacement gift card would be reissued. That was two weeks ago, and I still have not received anything. It has now been approximately four months since completing the study. In addition to the 15 hours spent participating in the research, I have spent an estimated 10 additional hours calling and emailing this company trying to resolve the issue. At this point, I do not believe the payment will ever be issued. The repeated delays, failed card issuance, and lack of resolution strongly suggest that this was fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
