I placed a single order to try the vendor's product after seeing it on Facebook. Four weeks later, I received a new product and was charged for it. When I reached out, the vendor notified me that I had subscribed to their monthly service (which I didn't or it was not clearly indicated at the time of the purchase). I did receive steps to cancel the subscription from this email: [email protected] . Why is the communication not coming from an e-mail @sassysaints.com? I cannot log into my account from the main website. I then followed the View Your Order link from my original order e-mail where I could see my order history, personal and payment information. However, there is no information about the subscription or an option to cancel it. Once I notified the vendor the order was sent to me in error and that I want to cancel this service, the above listed e-mail provided a direct link for me to go cancel the subscription. The process to cancel was not straight forward. I am filing this complaint in an effort to hold Facebook accountable for the businesses that are allowed to advertise on social media and to prevent anyone else from falling into this scam.
