Community Reports

I was reviewing Red Light Therapy Masks. The website SchoolofDermatology.com listed three Dermatologists in their review of the masks that they recommended. The #2 Mask recommended as Best for Seniors was CHOUOHC, from Japan. I ordered the mask...but only AFTER my order was placed did I do my research. Sadly. I discovered that the "Dermatologists" listed were not registered with the American Academy of Dermatology. I immediately cancelled my order...based on FALSE ADVERTISING. Sadly, I was told that my order had already been shipped. I was told by CHOUOHC that I could return the mask, but that I'd be responsible for return shipping fees, and for a $122 fee from CHOUOHC. I mailed the return via UPS...and couldn't believe when I was told that the cost would be $557.47. Thinking that all shipping carriers would charge the same fee, I went ahead with the return. SchoolofDermatology.com used FALSE advertising to promote this product. I believe that CHOUOHC paid a commission to this website to advertise their product. I foolishly believed, without researching, the false claims that SchoolofDermatology.com made. I wish to warn others to NOT use this website when researching products to purchase. They claim to sell therapeutic LED masks. This is not a medical grade mask. These are basic, LED strip lights you buy to decorate your room. They are not the right shades of red or blue. They will offer no therapeutic benefits. They use ai generated models and fake reviews found on similar mask. They claim to have been reviewed by good morning America, which is false. They claim to be an American company, which is false. They use a scam site schoolofdermatology.com to promote their fake masks and then ship from china to a warehouse in California so that you are unable to return or refuse the package. They said they couldn’t cancel my order because it was shipped, only to ship from china 2 days later. [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Regenalight] [Location: CA, USA - 95827]
