Is this legit? Hello, fellow redditors, this here is the story and I would appreciate it greatly if you can give me some pointers in whether this is legit or not. So I have applied for a job at Apex Investment Group. This here is their website http://www.seeapex.com/. They contacted me for an online interview like 3 months ago and just contacted me again today to offer me the position. Now they say they are moving to the NYC area and don't have an office yet so everything will be done online. Even the interview was online this is the reason why I think its a scam because so far I have only contacted them online haven't met them in person. So I would need to install the software necessary for the position. Before I can start the training I need to make a payment to one of the vendors so I can get the software. I asked if I could make the payment later and still receive training. The interviewer said no as the software will arrive the next day after I made the payment and you will need it for the training. Now they say they will reimburse me later. So this wouldn't be a problem if this is legit. I also expressed this concern that it would be a scam with the interviewer and he gave me a number to call employee A. Even though I asked to meet an Employee in person he just gave me the number and said that I would not be meeting him and get back to the interviewer after the call. When I chatted with Employee A he said he has just been recently hired for 3 weeks and he is still in school pursuing his Associate Degree. Employee A said his job position is data entry right now. When I asked him whether he received his software yet he said he still haven't. Employee A also so happens to be the vendor info that the interviewer gave me. Interviewer wants me to make the payment now and start tomorrow. The payment is done through western union and sent to Employee A. So it doesn't really match up if you ask me. The website they have haven't been updated since 2007 and if you go
