I have been living in an apartment that I believe is zoned as a commercial space. Can I get a refund for the rent I've paid? My landlord rented me an apartment in San Francisco California. They never told me it was a commercial space, but I suspect it is. I looked up my address online here: http://www.sf-planning.org/index.aspx?page=2205 and it reads ZONING DISTRICTS: NC-2 - NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL, SMALL SCALE I was on the lease for quite some time, but I am now just paying month to month. I have paid a lot of rent to these people, and the place looks like a poorly converted office space. Am I owed my rent back?
