March 11, 2026, I ordered (#Order495056) the 250th Anniversary bottles. Four bottles would cost $116.99. Material: Lead-free crystal glass (https://sherum.com/products/sheremart-we-the-people-250). I received four plastic bottles with 250 stickers on both sides and a plastic cork! A sticker label definitely was not what I thought I was getting. I emailed Sherum to notify them of mistake in shipping. What I received from them was very disappointing. They were glad I received my order but the return cost was on me. They have a 30 day return policy. The said “Considering the high shipping fee to return it all the way back to our warehouse (about return shipping fee is $50-$80), will it be possible to offer a $15.00 refund to you as a way to make up for this? It is more convenient for you.” I was pretty unhappy about that response so asked them to ship my order. The next email said “ We are sorry for the inconvenience. How about we refund you $30 and you keep this order? Or you can choose to send the items back to us for a full refund.” You send the wrong items and then I have to send these plastic bottles back to you for exchange or refund, the return shipping fee needs to be afforded by me. I was extremely disappointed in their response and told them I’d be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I can’t believe this scam is being advertised on all the major news feeds.
