No clue whats going on 93, parkinsons, had stroke 2 yrs ago, dementia he goes in cycles, a couple days bad and about twice as many pretty good. We are on day two of down cycle. I can tell he has no clue, can see it in his face. hes a bit better than when he woke up but hes falling again. I came in to watch TV with him, TV off and him sleeping. turned off the lamp over his head and he said he was watching that, then he was listening to that, meaning the TV. He then tells me some half intelligible blurb about a lady and an election and what a interesting time in our history it was. So he either hallucinated it or lucid dreamed it? H has been doing this the last couple times hes had his bad days but not on his good days. Went to the store and when I got back he was stuck on the toilet cause I had tied knots in the legs of his sweatpants....but they werent tied just then. He couldnt get his feet thru the legs of the pants. I showed him the easy way but he wont remember. he also couldnt do any buttons, which he always has trouble with but can eventually do. He will seriously sit and struggle at doing something for an hour and when I see him i help and he gets mad. I know parkinsons is up and down but this is different. he had tests run a couple weeks ago and all good. needs to drink more water and we had a nice conversation about that today. I think he just forgets, cause he asked me to remind him. Thats a long story in itself. But this lucid dreaming/hallucination is newer and his having a struggle then blaming someone is newer too. Is this a natural course or should I be calling his doctor. Usually after 2-3 bad days he rebounds and has 5-7 good ones. Two days ago he did mistake some meds, so he has accepted at this point me managing his meds. he doesnt understand how to use the pillminder. Is a weekly with each day has am and pm. he took four days worth of am two nights ago. last night I reminded him to take his sleeping pill and he treid to take a hearing ai
