I agreed to trade a pair of Jordans with a guy over in Canada and he has stole them/did not send his pair. Is there something I can do? This is my first post on reddit, (Been a lurker for months). So basically, via a website --> http://solecollector.com , I agreed to a trade of shoes with another user. We talked for a few days prior, and he seemed like a real good guy. He didn't have any feedback on the site, though he had good eBay feedback. Because of these factors, I felt comfortable shipping to him first. Long story short, and many many unresponded text mesesages later, I'm out 160 dollars and a pair of shoes. And oh yeah, the site can't help me at all because we didn't do the trade through their system. I know, I'm an idiot. But is there anyone out there who can help me get some legal action involved? Or at least let me know if i'm SOL. Hope I can get some advice.
