Sprint.com $100 Amex card scam (older) This scam is a little older, but in case it appears later, I wanted to make others aware. Back in August Sprint ran this [promotion (cached link)](http://shop.sprint.com/modals/amex_100.html?question_box=amex%20prepaid%20card&id16=amex%20prepaid%20card). When I purchased my phone I didn't see the card on my receipt and immediately notified Sprint wondering if I was eligible. I was told I was, along with an extra $50 mail in rebate. Sounded amazing! Five months later and several phone calls/e-mails/chats I kept hearing "It should be there soon.". Assuming the promotion was bigger than they expected, I waited patiently. I called again yesterday and they said instead of the card I actually received a wifi enabler. No, no I did not. So I went to their message boards and pointed out their scam. My how quickly they wanted to correct the situation while also being condescending that I must have not read the rules and perhaps was an existing customer so this is all my fault. After going step by step with the rules with them (and fixing their spelling along the way.. seriously, "recieve" ?) and how I qualified I'm asked to please e-mail them because they care so much. Talking to a rep via e-mail yet again I'm told "I looked into your records and you don't qualify because the $50 rebate". Are these the same records that state I got this mystical wifi enabler? So I let her know with copies of all the transcripts I've had previously with countless reps who have told me "don't worry, you qualify, just wait" and even "you get both the $100 and $50, lucky you!". I've looked into this more and several other customers have made complaints about never receiving the gift card from the promotion, so I can't be the only they keep BSing to. I'm not normally a complainer, I'm pretty patient and can wait for stuff. But after 5 months of being dicked around and a new excuse each time, I smell a scam. **TL;DR : Sprint has offered $100
