should i use a debit card at 16 even though i have a auth user credit card and utilization gets reported onto my parents credit i have about maybe 10-12 ccs with my mom. I'm getting a job soon but before when I had no stable income, I only spend $1-$25 on myself once in a while. I feel like I'm leaving money on the table when I buy something with debit and I was told debit cards have less security with credit cards but I've always disputed things with debit cards and they've worked really well I know about the 2 business day reporting thing if fraud happens and liability is $50 but my credit union and VISA have a zero-liability policy and I have card alerts every time.
