Went online to order flowers on Thursday from a website SunnyFlowerDelivery.com for a Friday delivery in Ridgeway NJ which I thought was a local florist. I left instructions for the delivery driver that the recipient was disabled and would need time to get to the door. I left a 15% tip for the delivery driver. Total order was $93.48. The flowers were not delivered until Monday at 6:23 pm via UPS and were left on the front porch which she can't access because of her disability. Turns out that even though I placed the order with Sunny Flower Delivery, it was confirmed by Blossom Flower Delivery, and another supposed florist Arabella Bouquets actually shipped the order via UPS in Latham NY. I called Blossom Flower Delivery earlier on Monday and got a UPS tracking number from them which is how I found out the flowers originated in Latham NY, not Ridgeway NJ. The flowers are now sitting on a porch in freezing temperatures until the recipient can get someone to retrieve them for her. What a mess! These three companies are running a florist scam and delivering old flowers through UPS which makes no sense. They are disguising themselves as local florists online and not delivering on the dates they accept online. There are long wait times when you call. Not sure what else I can do, but I am in the process of reporting them to my credit card company which takes a great amount of time as well. Not sure what else I can do.
