Just to alert people to a company that sells hats, and they use social media sites like Instagram and Facebook. They have a very "first rate" looking presence, and come to discover they use stock photography and photos of actual Stetson hats (and others), even using the same product name such as Stratoliner, etc. I should have been more alert to the adage that "if it sounds too good to be true, it isn't true." They were offering a Stetson style hat for $65-$70 -- a real version is in the $250-$300 range. Here's my complaints: (1) The company ships from China, but nowhere on their webpage or web site do they tell you where it ships from (2) shipping takes weeks (3) the hat I received is nowhere close to the quality of an actual Stetson, and at best, it's equivelent to a $10 novelty hat you might buy at a costume store. There was simply no quality to it. A terrible product and a deceptive company. (4) you can return, but you have to pay return shipping to China which approaches the same cost as the hat (5) they try to appease you by offering you a return credit of 40, 50, or 60%, but then that promised credit never arrives. Consumers should not purchase from MyHatHaven.Com -- it is a classic rip off scheme with false advertising and non-existent customer service. They also sell and promote under hatindy.com and sweetearing.com. I have alerted Google, facebook and instragram that this company should not be allowed to advertise.
