On January 4, 2026, I purchased 4 baseball caps that commemorated the 250th USA anniversary, from Swektsky.com. The website claimed that they were "certified made in the USA", embroidered and the fiber content was a mixture of cotton and polyester. I had ordered them as a gift and ordered some for myself as well, and since my friends were planning a visit to me, I also paid for expedited shipping ($15.99 - 5-7 business days) so that they would arrive on time, before the visit. When I checked the tracking on January 12, 2026, I was dismayed to discover that the merchandise was awaiting export from China. I immediately contacted the service department at Swektsky.com and asked for a refund of the expedited shipping charge as it was obvious they would not arrive within the expedited shipping timeframe, which would have meant it would have been delivered by January 13, 2026 at the latest. The response was a bunch of gibberish about them selling their products in many countries and that right now they only had stock in their China warehouse, thus making it further obvious that they are not "Certified Made in the USA" as advertised. I then responded with a demand for a refund of the expedited shipping charges. They responded by apologizing for the delayed logistics and asked me to contact them after the package was signed for and they would compensate me. The package finally arrived on January 28, 2026, and the baseball caps were not as advertised on the website. Once again, I contacted [email protected] stating that the caps were not embroidered as advertised, they were screen printed, they obviously did not contain any cotton as advertised and were only made of nylon.
