US- Do not accept any jobs on the platform Taskly (https://taskly.fans/task/#/) This platform is called "Taskly". They pose as a Mystery Shopper site. I know what you're probably thinking, and no, they weren't your typical "deposit check, buy gift cards, submit code to Mystery person, etc" scam that we all know. They trick you into trusting them by setting up your payout through a pretty authentic looking dashboard and putting money into it. Next they say, "'You'll never use your own funds to complete mystery shopping tasks" "Withdraw the funds in your dashboard and complete your first task today. Once you complete it, we'll process your first payment. " So in order to withdraw funds, they require KYC verification and to contact them through WhatsApp. I submitted my ID and contacted them, Aaaaaand they ghosted me! So, yeah, I was dumb enough to fall for it. Ironically enough, I'm someone who avoids platforms that require KYC verification and after this experience, I still won't use KYC.
