team TAG job scam I got a call from a company called team TAG in Los Angeles who said they were interested in my resume and wanted to schedule me for an interview. They complimented me several times (red flag #1) but I've been applying for craigslist jobs so I agreed to the interview. I searched through my emails but couldn't find the application I sent for the position (red flag #2). The caller said they would email me the invite but it was sent to my junk email (red flag #3). So, I checked out the website: http://www.teamtaggroup.com/index.php/about-us I've been through this scam once before so I was lucky enough to recognize it this time. Basically you go in for 3 interviews. The first one is one-on-one with an interviewer but there are a lot of people there. The second one is an all day, unpaid field "interview" where you go out with a group of people trying to sell services to people (the one I was involved in before was selling upgraded AT&T or Verizon plans, can't remember which). The third one happens when you come back from the field and talk to the first person who interviewed you. It's a lot of work for little pay and they don't tell you anything up front. I googled "team TAG scam" and they were listed on RipoffReport along with other scam reporting websites. TL;DR: You should be hard pressed for a job before you consider a position with them.
