Landlord/Tenant Dispute The Property Management Company has violated the Texas Property Code and additionally changed my lease in the middle, adding an addendum to cap water usage saying “signature not required, it’s going into affect on xx/xx/xxxx date”. Do I have a case? How can I enforce Texas Property Code? Is this something I file with the County Clerk and self represent or can I have an attorney represent me. I’m having a very hard time finding representation for a landlord/tenant dispute. I’ve attempted to call my local bar chapter for my specific county, but the number is disconnected. I’ve looked through TexasBar.com but multiple attorneys I called when filtering to Landlord/Tenant dispute have told me they only handle commercial real estate issues. Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area
