I wanted to get a facial near my house so I googled "facial Wynnewood, PA," and Farrar Beauty came up with the address of 80 E Wynnewood Rd., suite 9 A., Wynnewood PA 19096, which is inside Sola Suites in the Wynnewood Shopping Plaza. I went to Farrar Beauty's Website, TheSkinBarbie.com, which seems like a legitimate site, and they required a deposit for the facial, which I paid on their website. I received a receipt confirming the deposit and on the receipt the address listed to come to was the same as above. This is also the address that shows on their own website, Theskinbarbie.com. When I showed up for the facial and went to the address, which is a Sola Salon Suite, the Suite claimed by the business was in fact an entirely different business that was closed at the time. I looked at the Salon Directory and Farrar Beauty was nowhere on there. I tried calling the phone number listed on their website and the receipt but it is not in service. I tried e-mailing twice and no one got back to me. I contacted my Credit card company and they state that when they reached out to the merchant, the merchant claimed I signed a waiver that it was a non-refundable deposit. But the business doesn't exist- they're just taking deposits from people and there is no location to receive services. Through trying to provide evidence of this to Citi, I reached out to the Corporate Office for Sola, who said they never had a tenant named Farrar Beauty. Benefit of the doubt I thought maybe they moved to another location and didn't update their receipts/website/phone number. When I google them, Yelp does show a different address, 666 N 52nd St, with one review- when I google this address, it's a boarded up building on Google Maps.
