Scammed by our Wedding Photographers? What can we do? We were looking for a wedding photographer for our wedding next July. I found a couple online and liked their images, I contacted them and they sent me an information packet with samples of their work. I really liked the photos in the packet, so we signed a contract with them. $500 was due up front, the remaining $500 is to be paid 7 days before the wedding. We just got the edited engagement photos back and we really didn't like them - they looked nothing like the photos in the info packet they sent us. I saved one of the images from the info packet and did a reverse image lookup on www.tineye.com, it found the image at another photographer's website - so apparently they stole the images from another photographer's blog and are using it in their information packet. What can we do in order to get our $500 money back? Do we have to contact the photographer who's images they stole and get them to verify that they in fact have been stolen?
