Around Christmas I decided to buy a laser pointer for myself and family. I found a nice website called tinkerlasers.com and was impressed. First I ordered two of their most cheapest lasers that were on sale. They both arrived quick and accurate. No problems with bank card. Then I ordered a more expensive model The Core 425 for $250. I received a Valkyrie 450. It took weeks (4-5) for this one to ship and it shipped out of New Jersey and not Wyoming. I had to call and call and email with no reply. When he finally did say it was shipped and sent tracking, it wasn’t even a week later. Finally after me pestering his phone with no answer, it shipped but it’s the wrong laser. I can prove this because he sent me a picture of what the Core 425 looked like next to a US dollar and also explained the different batteries needed to power a laser of that strength. That picture was sent before I ordered. The laser sent is smaller and takes different batteries. Plus it’s $105 cheaper. Then to make things worse, my Credit Card (I used a different one this time) was billed by a scammer twice no very long after for $250ish and $975ish. I caught on quick and informed the bank to cancel my card and then I had to report the fraud. It was approved to credit my account the $250ish and the larger amount was canceled by quickly informing the website company the order was fraud and not to ship the $975ish worth of product. I think this website is nicely made but in reality a guy has a big box of cheap lasers with no real inventory when it comes to the strong lasers that he claims to make (I doubt it now).
