Is my dad getting scammed? Sorry I don't know much about crypto or how to use reddit. My dad has been sending money to some people and one of them says they are an "admin and agent of a payout market". They are saying that if he pays $2000, they will release half of his total profit to his wallet. I know next to nothing about crypto and I am getting all this information from his WhatsApp and Instagram chats. There was also a mention about maintenance fee. Apparently this has been going on for almost a year now and I have no idea how much money he has lost, all I know is that he hasn't gotten any of the profit they promised.
