I located a website called Point of Grace Cavaliers. The website showed pictures of available puppies. I contacted the phone number by text and was advised that the pup[y i inquired about was available. The person advised that the cost of the puppy was $1800.00, and shipping would be an additional $250.00. The seller provided their PayPal information ( [email protected] ) and advised to use the friends and family option. I paid the initial $2,050.00 to the seller. Once the supposed shipping process began, the shipper contacted me and advised that pet insurance was required and was refundable upon arrival of the puppy. The price for the insurance was $1,500, which would be refunded upon delivery of the puppy. I was instructed to pay the seller the insurance amount again, as they were the shipping customer, which I foolishly did, using the same payment method. After several hours, the transport company (Family Pet Transport.com) advised that the seller had not provided the proper crate and that I could rent a crate for $ 1,500.00. Upon delivery of the puppy, all but $40.00 would be refunded. I told the seller I would not pay anymore money and at first, the seller advised that they were going to pay it the following day. I contacted the seller the following day, and they said they were unable to come up with the funds. I requested that the transaction be cancelled and to start the refund process.
