Some help with airline, non-refundable ticket. So several months ago I bought 2 non-refundable tickets from US Airways. The tickets were for a trip to Florida with friends. Sadly, one of the friends was diagnosed with liver cancer and we had to cancel the trip. About a week after I bought the tickets saying that the flight time was changed and I needed to reaccept the schedule change. The time change was not significant, about a 4 minute later departure and an earlier arrival. I read US Airways policy and it says that an involuntary refund can be requested if the customer does not accept a schedule change. I know the plane tickets are non-refundable, but I also know that the statement from US Airways says that a refund can be requested due to a schedule change. Do I have a legal right to a refund, even though the schedule change is not significant?
