Data Broker Refuses to Delete My Information from Their System - Georgia I asked usphonebook.com to remove my data from their system via their opt-out form. They declined the request saying that my state "does not have a comprehensive consumer protections law." I interpret that as my state (Location: Georgia) doesn't have a law formally requiring them to do that, so therefore they won't do it and will continue to sell my information because they want to. What can I legally do? Is there some sort of federal statute? Can I make them do it? If so, how?

USphonebook.com published my full name, address, and a cell phone number and refuses to take it down, says I need to cite a law that they have broken? The title. Location: Kansas, USA. [USphonebook.com](http://USphonebook.com) has my address (and my spouses) listed on full display along with our cell phone numbers. we filled out the form asking they remove it and they're refusing. we are concerned with safety as we work in public fields and just want to know how we can get these taken down for peace of mind. We have tried the contact us form but we get automated responses that they won't address privacy concerns through that form. The regular opt out form doesn't have any section for details and just gets auto denied because our state (Kansas) doesn't have privacy laws that apply to this. They said we need to appeal by citing a law (but there's also no appeal form and they don't provide a link and state if you reply to the email that's not an official appeal and they won't answer it - totally scummy) I tried the phone number too but they won't discuss privacy matters on the phone, either. They're clearly making it as difficult as possible to reach them and just want to know what we can do (if anything).
